Warehouse Worker

 

Description:

The Warehouse Worker is also responsible for maintaining inventory integrity, reviewing, preparing and completing documents in accordance with AS9100 QMS, TCCA, and Airbus requirements. The Warehouse Worker is also required to use various powered/non powered materials handling equipment. The Warehouse Worker will also be required to perform “on call duties” on a rotation schedule.

 

Order Picking:

  • Locate and pick parts or material from identified storage locations specified on TO, ensuring FIFO.

  • Review and verify part number and count against pick order.

  • Open packaging as required to verify and confirm serial number/ lot number.

  • Put incoming parts and materials in designated storage locations, maintaining accuracy with system data.

  • Use SAP ERP system and RF scanner to support picking and resolving any discrepancies.

  • Maintain inventory integrity (lot# quantity, FIFO and pick location).

  • Conduct cycle count/Inventory count on as needed basis.

  • Ensure orders are packaged appropriately for delivery and supplied with traceability documentations.

  • Ensure all orders are labelled and identified properly to the order.

 

Receiving :

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers making sure to inspect each package to ensure the correct number of packages and their condition. Confirm shipment belongs to AHCA.

  • Open the packages and remove parts and paperwork to ensure they have part number, value, expiry date, and serial number and validate all certifications and documentations prior to receiving into SAP as per procedure.

  • Maintain and update the incoming RMA’s in SAP and send info to the appropriate department via email

  • Issue parts to open Sales order or open Work order as per AHCA Policies and Instruction and AHCA Quality Program Procedures

  • Load and unload trucks as required.

 

Shipping:

  • Ship parts to customers, create manual or digital waybills, contact and instruct freight and courier companies via phone or online platforms.

  • Manage shipping dock, load and/or unload trucks and shipping containers ensuring full traceability through tracking details, and record information in SAP.

  • Fill out customs invoices (B13’s) and upload export declarations (CERS) and related data when required.

  • Ensure dangerous goods products (DG) are identified, packaged and shipped in accordance with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Run delivery reports daily to ensure all shipments are complete/ organize the shipping rack for next day shipments according to shipping dates and ship methods.
