Warehouse Clerk

Description:

We are looking to hire a Warehouse Clerk to join our Timmins West Mine in Timmins, ON, on a full-time basis. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8 hrs/day.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functions within the warehouse and participate in inventory control activities including receiving, storing and issuing mine material and supplies in accordance with Company expectations. You will be required to pick internal orders and prepare them for on-site movement, operate the warehouse manitou and forklift, as well as maintain the housekeeping within the warehouse.

Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator or designate, the Warehouse Clerk will have the following responsibilities:

• Receiving: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, checking for accuracy and inspecting for damage.
• Issuing: Issuing stock from inventory.
• Data Entry: Receiving and issuing will be completed in your ERP System – Oracle.
• Inventory Organization: Ensure products are properly stored and organized in the warehouse, maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
• Shipping Preparation: Prepare and label outgoing shipments, ensuring the correct products and quantities are dispatched on schedule.
• Safety Adherence: Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe warehouse environment and participate in regular safety training and inspections.
• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse area.

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

• Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset
• Good oral and written communication skills (Radio use)
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of inventory management, mine materials, equipment, and maintenance parts is an asset
• Be committed to safety
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
• Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from the site as public transportation is not available.
