Warehouse Clerk

Description:

Specific Responsibilities and Functions:

• Invoicing (including batch error tracking).

• Prepare and scan Delivery Summaries and other supporting documents.

• RF equipment support.

• Stock printer and provide general maintenance as needed.

• Release POs to Receiving as needed.

• Ability to execute tasks in all warehouse environments at the Ajax Distribution Centre

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Working Conditions

• Grocery is warm. Employees often wear shorts and T-shirts year round.

• Cooler is approximately 1 - 2°C. Employees often wear jogging pants, sweatshirts, and a light jacket.

• Freezer is approximately –15°C. Freezer equipment including thermal suits, gloves and boots are provided.

• There are approximately 60 employees working per shift.

• CSA approved steel-toed safety boots must be worn on the warehouse floor. Employees are reimbursed $100 per year towards safety boots with proof of purchase after 90 days of employment.
