Description:
Reporting to the SVP Global Marketing Operations and working in close collaboration with regional leadership, you will lead a team of marketing professionals to drive brand awareness and business for Valtech in North America. We are looking for an empathetic, driven, and communicative leader who will build on the success of the current team, while further positioning Valtech as an experience innovator. You will lead our marketing activities including strategy, execution and lead generation across the US and Canada.

- Bring your creativity; marketing is about building trusting relationships. Find outside-of-the- box ways to share Valtech knowledge with prospective and current clients.
- Forecast and manage the regional marketing budget in collaboration with the SVP of Marketing Operations.
- Work with the global content team and the regional demand generation team to define content creation needs.
- Create and execute on the marketing roadmap in collaboration with the Global Marketing Leadership Team.
- Implement a regional event strategy that bolsters Valtech’s position as an experience innovation brand.
- Support the growth of your team including a Director of Digital Marketing, Director of Partner Marketing, Event Manager, Campaign Specialist, and other additions to the team.
- Alongside your team, set common goals and drive collaboration with professionals in the marketing organization working on our MarTech stack, content, brand, campaigns, emails, social media, public relations, analyst relations and events. Make sure the purpose and message of all initiatives resonates with North American audiences.
- Collaborate with our Public Relations firm for press releases, publications, speaking opportunities, awards and announcing strategic new hires.
- Communicate with the Account Directors and Client Partners to draw current clients into our thought leadership and events.
- Constantly strive for and prove the return on investment for all marketing initiatives.
- Communicate results monthly to regional leadership.
What you should have:
- 10+ years in marketing with at least 5 years in a strategic, leadership role on a Global team.
- Demonstrable experience in setting strategy and implementing successful marketing efforts.
- Strong understanding of how all current digital and in-person marketing channels work and a willingness to level up Valtech’s presence and experience offered to prospects, clients and partners.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, from executives to team members.
- Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Experience with our main collaboration tools: Marketo, Salesforce, and Teams, a plus.
- Strong and empathetic leadership skills including proven ability to lead and drive change within a matrixed organization, including global and regional cross-functional stakeholders.
- Billingual (french and english) (an asset)
