Vendor Sales Specialist

 

Description:

As a Technical Architect, Veeam, you become the go-to expert in Veeam datacenter solutions for our clients and our sales force. As a presale’s Technical Architect, you will design solutions that modernize data protection solutions to help our customers meet their business and technical challenges.

What you'll do:

  • Driving data protection opportunities.
  • Communicating efficiently with customer key stakeholders and can explain and scope out requirements to achieve their business and data protection objectives.
  • Presenting proposals to customers and work with sales to ensure closure of sale.
  • Understanding Veeam architectures, and how it relates to the overall data protection strategy (on-prem, off-prem).
  • Working collaboratively with sales team members to manage through the pipeline and closing the opportunities.
  • Coaching and mentoring sales team members on discovery and management of data protection sales opportunities.
  • Seeking further opportunities to sell services to the client.


What you'll bring to the table:

  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills, promoting a team-focused culture with shared goals & accountabilities, and influencing outcomes through leadership.
  • Experience in assessing new opportunities and performing necessary discovery around technical requirements, operational and financial impacts.
  • Experience in the development of business cases, cost / benefit analysis, pricing models, and forecasts.
  • Ability to formulate stakeholder assessment, engagement and obtain buy-in on strategies and execution.
  • Thorough understanding of Professional Services best practices preferred.
  • Willingness to achieve certification requirements for specified vendors.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in designing and delivering data protection solutions.
  • Strong experience with Veeam.
