Underwriting Admin Specialist

 

Description:

We are looking for an eager and energetic person to support the Group Medical Underwriting Team. In this role you will be responsible for various administration/support tasks that will contribute to the underwriting process of group benefits. This will include phone call inquires, producing letters, placing orders, running reports as well as other administrative tasks.
What will you do?

  • Produce letters to members, policyholders and internal business partners
  • Answer calls from customers on our phone queue
  • Manage returned mail
  • Respond and/or redirect customer inquiries.
  • Support underwriting practices with data entry tasks.
  • Order/Distribute weekly/monthly reports
  • Run and manage monthly follow/pending reports
  • Complete general administration tasks

  • Bilingualism required for Quebec applicants (French, English) - interactions with English speaking customers or partners
