We will count on you to:
- Review and analyze Commercial General Liability and Umbrella insurance submissions
- Assess exposure and determine rates, terms, and conditions of coverage in accordance with underwriting guidelines
- Negotiate terms and conditions with registered insurance brokers across Canada
- Service current accounts and provide coverage options
- Develop and maintain an awareness of liability claims and exposures
- Maintain an awareness of market conditions and competition
What you need to have:
- Fluency in English is mandatory (written and oral).
- Post-secondary education in insurance, marketing, business administration or related discipline
- Preferably work experience in insurance underwriting or a combination of insurance and related discipline with a focus in a client service, marketing or sales-oriented environment
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and Zoom
