Description:
Under the supervision of Montreal Sales leadership, you work primarily with direct clients to support them in achieving their business goals. You promote TV and digital platforms in the CBC/Radio-Canada ecosystem with a focus on increasing investments by active clients, prospecting for new clients and closing sales of comprehensive, integrated advertising campaigns (TV and digital).
Your primary duties will be the following:
- Be responsible for maintaining the business relationship with direct clients and agencies as well as negotiating and managing volume agreements.
- Gather and analyze client needs and clearly define client marketing goals and key performance indicators in order to submit effective, relevant proposals.
- Perform tasks involved in the sales workflow (updating activities in the CRM system, forecasting, client meetings, prospecting).
- Maintain a sufficient volume of opportunities to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain and develop contacts with our clients.
- Work closely with representatives from all CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions departments (Content Marketing, Research, etc.).
What you bring:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in administration or related field, or equivalent experience
- Three or more years’ experience in TV and digital advertising sales (senior profile)

- Excellent business development skills
- Ability to manage an existing high-volume portfolio
- Ability to build and foster effective business relationships
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Critical listening skills
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- Ability to perform sales-related administrative tasks
- Excellent spoken and written French; good command of English required
- Valid driver’s licence and fully insured vehicle
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently within your sales region
