related field of study. Post-graduate certificate as a Certified Asset Management Professional or equivalent is preferred. Post-graduate diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is an asset. Additional courses in Municipal Engineering through the Municipal Engineering Association (MEA) and Ontario Good Roads Association (OGRA) are an asset. An equivalent combination of education, experience and qualifications may be considered. Knowledge Minimum 5 years of experience supporting civil or transportation engineering, asset management and GIS initiatives, preferably within the public sector. Experience with pavement and bridge asset management systems, storm sewer networks, asset data standards, risk and condition based modelling. Working knowledge of Asset Management Standards and Quality Management Systems and Standards, relevant acts, by-laws and regulations (e.g. ISO 55000, ISO 9001, ISO 30001, PSAB 3150). Extensive practical experience and understanding of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) based applications. Knowledge of project management methodologies, including capability to design and lead small projects. Preferred professional designations: Licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng), Licensed Engineering Technologist (L.E.T), Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.), and/or Asset Management Professional and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
