Description:
Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Temporary Customer Service Clerks to join our Home Centre team on a part-time or full-time basis at our location in Wainwright, AB. This position will be a term position with a potential to turn into a full-time role. You will report to the Hardware Manager. In this role, you will assist with the transition to our new location that will be opening in February 2023.
What you’ll do:
- Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences
- Cleaning the current home centre building to prepare for the move to the new building
- Moving stock from the old location to the new location
- Packing, organizing, and arranging product to be moved to the new location
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions
- Operate till (Point of Sale System), processing customer transactions
- Inventory verifications
- Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Utilize proper PPE and safety protocols
- Able to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings until 6pm, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
- Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
- Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
- You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; previous retail experience would be an asset
- You’re able to lift 50lb on a regular basis
