Description:
We are seeking a Technical Sales and Support (TSS) - Crusher Wears resource to join our Canadian TSS team. You will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers, through comprehensive understanding of the products, support soft-wares and application areas.
This position is located in Lachine, Quebec (Canada) and it will involve up to 50% of domestic and international travel.
What You'll Do
- Support customers with Product Lines input for continuous optimization on Crusher Wears, interfacing with the responsible product support mgr. Train and continuously communicate with local Market Area in doing wear readings, assessment and recommendations
- Responsible for all field requirements such as field measurements, work scope development, parts recommendations, materials selection and product application
- Meet with customers on an as needed basis to discuss/review profile and optimization plans
- Work with Product line on proposal drawings for liner optimization in CAD
- Support studies with local service hubs & Life Cycle Services (LCS) to reduce maintenance costs, recommend modifications or replacements in order to increase reliability
- Follows up on installations and gathers information for product improvements and optimization.
- In cooperation with the Sales Area organization, maintain detailed market intelligence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time
- Must be prepared to spend at least 50% of the time at sites
Who You Are
- 5-10 years’ experience in heavy industry preferably with mineral processing equipment, preferably the related products
- Strong knowledge of crushing/screening process and applications
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, organizational, problem solving & trouble shooting skills required.
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
- Skills need to include building and managing internal relationships, understanding of customer needs and market requirements, and effectively interacting with others to communicate the benefits reliability engineering
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written in French and English fluently
- CAD, preferred but, not required
