Reporting to the Sr. Technical Project Manager, the Technical Project Manager is accountable for the successful implementation of projects that help Bell deliver a best in class customer experience online & on our apps, through our Digital Billboards platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Digital Billboard capital projects for Bell, Virgin and Lucky. They will also leverage the growing momentum in AI/ML to optimize the tile prioritization. The individual must have experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams such as IT, BI, Operations and Software Engineering in an agile environment. They must also be well versed in stakeholder management and influence, as well as comfortable presenting to executives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage capital projects related to Digital Billboards, including requirements definition, managing IT development cycle, overseeing testing, working with IPC, stakeholder management, and executive presentations.
- Translate feedback and suggestions from executives, cross-functional teams and customers into features to be prioritized in the overall Digital Billboard Platform backlog.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, BI, AI/ML, Reporting, Operations and Software Engineering to translate functional requirements into features to be delivered
- Recommend new creative initiatives with support from business cases to improve the customer experience within the Digital Billboard portfolio
- Keep all stakeholders informed of ongoing and upcoming projects
- Participate in PI Planning & Preparation
- Always in the know about how other companies are using personalization and digital assets on their websites and their mobile apps
Critical Qualifications
Thrive in a fast-paced, digital-first, agile environment
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills to run several projects at once
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills that translate into perfectly delivered presentations, virtually and in person
- Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, InVision, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple language for non-technical audiences
- Passionate about delivering the best customer experience and driven to always get the product to the next level
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience working with large, customer-facing eCommerce and mobile projects
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or other relevant fields
- Agile product management certification, such as SAFe ®
- Project management certification is an asset
- Passion for digital products is a must
