What You Will Bring
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python or another programming language, including experience with machine-learning/data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, SciPy, pandas, TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts, with a strong emphasis on data cleansing and integrity maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset for tackling diverse challenges, including a focus on data discovery and insights extraction.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and data analysis techniques, including knowledge discovery, predictive analysis, and ROI analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
What You Will Do
- Work alongside our Senior Manager of BI and Data Science to develop and test various data-driven proof of concept projects.
- Assist in the collection, preparation, and thorough cleansing of data to ensure quality and reliability for analysis.
- Engage in data discovery processes to uncover hidden patterns and insights, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and contribute to developing solutions with a focus on strategic deployment of analytics.
- Learn and apply new technologies and methodologies in data science and analytics.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and challenges.
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Great To Have)
- Experience with any machine learning or data visualization tools.
- Knowledge or interest in commercial real estate or related industries.
- Exposure to cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
