What You Will Do:
Provides senior specialist oil accounting technical support by ensuring adherence to appropriate financial controls and related processes governing all oil accounting functions, e.g. revenue invoicing, shipper balance statements, carrier’s inventory calculation, oil loss calculation, internal financial reporting requirements, and SOX controls etc.
Leading all aspects of investigating, recommending and implementing ways to improve processes and customer account management
Coordinating the flow of complex information to partners internally and externally, e.g., system shippers, Internal Audit, Business Development, Asset Managers, Revenue Assurance and External Auditor
Mentoring a small team in the fulfillment of their responsibilities and professional development, compensation decisions, succession planning, performance management, etc.
Who You Are:
Related University degree or diploma with an accounting designation
Minimum of 5-8 years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
Strong understanding of pipeline operations and pipeline scheduling & logistics
Strong leadership and management skills
