SUMMARY OF DUTIES: We are currently recruiting for the Aeronautica boutique at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. However, the work location is subject to change based on operational requirements. Reporting to the Head of Retail and Food Services, the Supervisor, Retail is responsible day-to-day operations and sales in the Boutique spaces. The incumbent supervises, schedules and leads a team of Boutique Salespersons. The Supervisor is responsible for customer service, cash management, visual merchandising, loss prevention, shrinkage and product knowledge. They are required to move between sites and pop up shops. The Supervisor takes on the role of ambassador for the corporation by presenting it as a dynamic cultural institution. As such, they ensure that each staff member on the sales floor acts positively in accordance with the Corporation’s mission and mandate.
