As The Pantry Supervisor, you will assume a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing daily store activities, including managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for our customers. You will be tasked with providing exceptional customer service, resolving any issues that arise, and implementing strategies to maximize sales and profitability. With your leadership skills and dedication to excellence, you will play a key role in maintaining The Pantry's reputation as a convenient and reliable destination for all our customers' needs.

• Operations Management : Oversee day-to-day operations, balancing front-line guest service with administrative tasks such as ordering, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Staff Training and Development: Implement and oversee a comprehensive training plan to ensure staff deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a positive and engaged guest experience.
• Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the resort's leadership team to support daily operations and maintain high standards across all areas of the Cabot Cape Breton resort.
• Store Maintenance and Food Service Support: Ensure store cleanliness exceeds standards and staff are engaged in maintaining a pristine environment. Collaborate with the culinary team to support food preparation and service.
   

Preferred Qualifications And Skills
 

• A minimum of 3 year’s experience in a retail and/or food & beverage outlet
• Valid Food Handler Education Course Certificate from the NS Dept of Environment or equivalent.
• Leadership (supervisory/management) experience required
• Strong knowledge of business financial operations, inventory controls and techniques, business-related software systems
