Student Job - Visitor Experience

Description:

As a student working for the Visitor Engagement - Visitor Experience, you will:

• Design showcase displays for the Museum's public spaces;
• Archive design project electronic files;
• Support the head of scenography in ad hoc small design-related projects;
• Work primarily on-site at Canadian Museum of History.

What we are looking for:

• Ongoing College or University Studies (undergraduate), in Museum Studies program and/or design, environmental design, graphic design. Basic 2D and/or 3D design;
• Basic understanding of design phases and processes;
• Knowledge of digital archiving technique and structures;
• Proficiency with the current graphic design software such as the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).

Eligibility criteria:

• Must be a full-time student at a College or University;
• Must be returning to full-time studies next session (a proof will be required);
• Bilingualism is an asset;
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
