Description:
As a student working for the Public Affairs and Business Development – Public Affairs, you will: Update community calendars and online message boards with our events, and museum activities, media base list updates; Locating images and copyright permissions for social media use; Support in preparing and editing captions for YouTube videos; Identify and create a list of social media accounts and new media opportunities (podcasts, blogs, etc.) for special initiatives and upcoming projects; Other related duties and learning opportunities. What we are looking for: Ongoing University Studies (undergraduate) in communication; Knowledge of social media platforms; Ability to research and create lists of topic specific new media platforms and identify opportunities (Podcast, blogs, high profile social media users) to promote museums research, collections, exhibitions and activities; Knowledge and understanding of sensitivities in the current social and political communications environment. Eligibility criteria: Must be a full-time student at University; Must be returning to full-time studies next session (a proof will be required); Must be available to work 20 hours per week in a hybrid work model; Bilingualism is required; Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
