Description:

We are seeking a skilled Student Information System Specialist (SISS) to join the Department of Education. The SISS will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Aspen Student Information System (also known as MyEDBC), ensuring accurate student data management, and providing technical support to users within the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of student information systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

  • Significant experience in ASPEN (also known as MyEDBC) Student Information System administration and management including user management, system configuration, security settings, and data integrity
  • Experience in providing technical assistance and support to a variety of systems. Recent experience in facilitating training sessions and developing user guides and documentation to a variety of audiences. This includes staying current on system updates and new features to provide timely and relevant training to users
  • Significant experience and aptitude in using numerous digital systems
