Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Sales Enablement Learning and Development, the Strategic Learning Architect collaborates across key stakeholders such as Marketing and Sales to align our learning strategy with their business growth strategies for the purpose of increasing sales and NPS.
In order to ensure we continue to stay ahead of our competitors, this role will lead projects, attend value stream meetings and collaborate with managers and designers to pilot and implement learning solutions that unify priorities and messaging. The Strategic Learning Architect will also develop and implement the strategy for collecting and analyzing metrics from sales and marketing with the Design and Development training programs, as well as MCEC data, including measurement of impact and ROI. They will identify synergies in project design, facilitation, and delivery for the Design and Development and CE Centre teams, creating a plan for implementation, evaluation and retention with a continuous improvement mindset.
Essential Responsibilities:
Driving future growth and strategic alignment
- Identifies and develops strategy synergy between training, sales and marketing for future focused growth, including increasing our digital footprint, competitive analysis, identifying pilot groups, research, testing and application with a focus on sales enablement
- Remains current in future learning practices and direction; including philosophy, methodology and technology; leading the T&D team in ideation and innovation
- Develops strategy for metrics for Design and Development, creating and applying standard formulas to determine ROI at the impact level
- Collects sales data and marketing data to tie into the training team data, creating robust summaries to be shared out
- Questions the status quo and consistently looks for the most innovative and engaging solutions with continuous improvement mindset
- Work with L&D Manager/s to oversee employee learning journey and career pathways in the organization
Design and Development for Sales Enablement
- Perform the full business partnering and consultation cycle - needs assessment, analysis, provide learning solutions, monitor and evaluate results and impact
- Collaborates and negotiates with external vendors to ensure design standards align with business goals; co-building to create customized solutions as required.
- Design training solutions that meet the needs of the adult learner, writing and editing content; testing solutions for readiness and usability
- Facilitate in person and virtual sessions to sales teams on an as needed basis
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to anticipate needs
- Proactively seek feedback from clients to continuously evolve and improve services provided individually and by the broader T&D team
Project management
- Manages concurrent complex design projects from end to end; communicating with partners and key stakeholders, influencing and adhering to tight timelines and ensuring strong communication plan and workback schedules
- Demonstrates inclusive behaviors and provides opportunities to collaborate across teams
- Fosters an environment where team members share insights and generate ideas, to become more innovative and create value for business partners in everything they do
- Maps road to readiness path including implementing change management tools where required
