How will you contribute to the team?
- Supervise the Surface and Underground Storekeepers, and Material Handlers: in conjunction with site leadership and training departments, select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, motivate, and discipline employees, communicate job expectations, monitor, appraise, and ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures. Completion of PDP Goals, Establishment and Measurement in MyCompass.
- Ensure all daily Stores Functions are conducted as scheduled, inclusive of: Shipping, Receiving, W/O and Parts Issuing, Cycle Counting, Inventory Placing, Stocking Level Maintenance, Housekeeping Practices, Goods and Core Management Returns, Obsolete and Scrap Items Management, Sores and Inventory Audit Requests (Internal and External) etc.
- Monitor, Review, Report, and Disposition of Site Inventories to: ensure maintenance of appropriate and accurate Inventory Levels.
- Work toward Continuous Improvements through 6S adoption. Maximum use of the Company Systems, Procedures and Processes to capture efficiencies and cost benefits, as well as Inventory Accuracy and Redundancy removals that lead to Cost Down Improvements.
- Develop, complete, and maintain selected Inventory Reports for Senior Management.
- Conduct and, or attend Safety Meetings, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, as required. Maintain and promote a Safe work environment.
