Sr. Portfolio Manager

Description:

The Enterprise Program Office (EPO), specifically the EPMO Reporting and Governance team has a near-term focus to ensure we are strategically and deliberating investing our resources and funds in the right areas to drive our long-term transformation efforts and deliver a modern experience for our clients and our team members.

As the Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be involved in monitoring & managing CIBC’s investment portfolio (including Business Case reviews, program status and financial/remediation requirements). You will create and maintain relationships to ensure the PMO community is provided clear guidance and direction on policies put in place.

How You’ll Succeed

• Reporting and Analytical Skills - You will act as a gatekeeper for all programs and projects seeking approval and monitor the programs, projects portfolio health.

• Portfolio Management – monitoring & managing CIBC’s investment portfolio (including Business Case reviews, program status and financial/remediation requirements)

• Relationship Building – create and maintain relationships with the PMO communities to ensure programs/projects are adhering to the policies established by EPMO. Working collectively with the Centre of Excellence on change management to Project Management Enterprise Wide Standards and Policies
