Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of these role include:
- Leads focus groups to identify business needs and solution development involving multiple stakeholders, systems and processes.
- Participates in Committees and working groups to provide strategic analysis and evaluation for Enterprise issues and challenges.
- Provides strategic expertise and recommendations for the identification, development and enhancement of existing systems and business processes.
- Conducts business capability analysis to shape project scope and target outcomes.
- Conducts business analysis and modelling to ensure resources, inputs and stakeholders are coordinated and integrated to meet business objectives and target outcomes.
- Engages in process mapping to ensure workflows are optimized to inform effective solution development and delivery across the Ministry.
- Performs gap analysis to identify the Baseline Business Architecture and drive value among business services, functions, and processes.
- Engages in business capability, organization and value stream mapping to leverage IT and business resources across the portfolio.
- Ensures thorough analysis and costing is included within business case documentation to support strategic decision-making.
- Conducts feasibility studies and requirement analysis to inform options framing for Ministry-wide solutions.
- Presents options analysis and business case documentation to Executive leadership to secure buy-in and endorsement for solution development.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and scale existing operations/services/systems to enable greater efficiency and effectiveness within and across Ministries.
- Conducts industry research to identify emerging technologies, tools and best practices, providing analysis upon the integration and adoption of solutions to meet department business needs.
- Consults with clients to identify key project outcomes.
- Liaise with Executive Sponsor/Business Process Owners/project team and stakeholders to ensure project/initiative objectives are communicated effectively.
- Provides strategic oversight to systems, processes and projects to ensure integration and alignment with strategic priorities and objectives.
