Specialized It Consultant

Description:

Bevertec is seeking a Specialized IT Consultant - Senior with extensive expertise in clinical terminologies, digital exchange standards, and electronic forms development. This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension, offering remote work across Canada. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in mapping and implementing clinical terminologies, working with FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and supporting pan-Canadian digital exchange standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and map clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT and LOINC.
• Apply FHIR and other digital exchange standards to improve data interoperability.
• Develop and implement electronic forms (eForms, SADIE) for healthcare applications.
• Support and enhance pan-Canadian digital exchange standards and tooling.
• Provide expert-level IT consultation in healthcare technology.

Mandatory Requirements:

✅ 10+ years of experience in implementing clinical terminologies (SNOMED CT, LOINC).
✅ 5+ years of expertise in FHIR, digital exchange standards, and clinical data applications.
✅ 5+ years of experience in pan-Canadian digital exchange standards.
✅ 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing electronic forms (eForms, SADIE).
