Specialist Operations Management

Description:

• Corporate and Commercial Banking lending products knowledge & experience. Demonstrate working knowledge of the structure of loan transactions from both a theoretical and practical viewpoint as well as the basic finance principles that underlie them. Possess a University degree (Economics/Finance preferred) and/or 2 – 3 years of business related experience.

• In depth knowledge of ACBS 8.0 (Advanced Commercial Banking System) is a definite asset.

• Confident, thorough and have the ability to use good judgment when making decisions involving a high degree of attention to detail.

• Communication & Collaboration: Demonstrate effective communication skills necessary to interpret and convey data that is often very technical. Understand that collaboration can transform a good idea into a great one and the power of an inclusive team that enjoys working together to bring a shared vision to life.

• Manage Risk and Minimize losses – Understand the importance of adhering to CIBC procedures, policies and guidelines. Ensure that control and security checks are conducted according to established standards and monitor audit controls within the unit to ensure that all non-compliant findings are identified, root cause analysis are completed and resolution is in place to mitigate risk.

• Ensure compliance with all CIBC regulatory training and assist management to ensure these programs and policies are applied consistently across the business.
