Specialist, Brand Marketing

 

Description:

The specialist of Brand Marketing will support the Brand Marketing Manager in developing and executing strategic marketing programs and partnerships that differentiate Holt Renfrew, ensuring complete integration across all channels and delivery consistent with the company’s overall goals.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Oversee day-to-day development and execution of brand campaign programs from start to finish
  • Build and facilitate key relationships with internal stakeholders to develop efficient collaboration and deliver high impact campaign results
  • Work closely with marketing teams and the internal communications team to ensure integration and consistent messaging for all campaign and cultural moments
  • Analyze key competitor activity and research market trends focusing on strategy, design and media
  • Manage and prepare project proposal decks and presentation materials for stakeholder meetings
  • Manage post mortem presentations, archiving seasonal activities and results for campaign and program marketing reference
  • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
  • Own the preparation of campaign and network marketing briefs for program activation
  • Prepare, issue, track, and collect all marketing invoices pertaining to network programs, updating the master budget on a regular basis to ensure accuracy
  • Manage the coordination of project implementation including critical paths, monitoring of progress, development of materials, communication and results tracking
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to roll out marketing campaigns, including the preparation of activation decks to support marketing activities.
  • Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings including documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Manage and oversee the ongoing maintenance of Brand Marketing documents, calendars, and processes
  • Assist in ideating and creating the Holt Renfrew marketing campaigns from industry research to execution across all platforms
  • Assist in developing first to market captivating campaigns with a 360 lens highlighting Holt Renfrew’s brands and in-store experiences
  • Stay on top of market and industry trends and identify new opportunities to drive traffic and appeal to new and existing audiences through campaigns
  • Support teams with innovative ideas to promote our brand and vendor products while driving traffic and sales in-store and online
  • Assist the Manager, Brand Marketing on all cross-functional and large-scale brand projects such as seasonal campaigns, network project management and marketing strategy
  • Assist Communications & Events teams at both store and corporate level for campaigns when required
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for the improvement of processes and performance
  • Complies with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

The ideal candidate:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • 2-3 years post-university work experience, including project management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
  • Project management expertise with a keen ability to keep multiple projects on track
  • Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
  • Highly service-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
  • Passionate about fashion and luxury retailing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in graphic design is an asset but not required
