What can you expect in this role?
The Solution Architect C#.Net Developer will provide architectural support on technical tasks within the development department and participate in the full development cycle of Family’s proprietary Point of Sale system upgrades. The successful incumbent will be working with a team of developers, business analysts, quality assurance analysts, and project managers to enhance Family’s existing production systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide architecture leadership in the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of strategies, technical solutions, and professional services, and manage vendors and contractors in the overall architecture-blueprinting phase of the solution delivery process.
- Define solution-level architecture for project teams including guidance on development tools, data processing, operations, and security.
- Ensures the operational platforms and associated interfacing data and systems have been properly architected end to end to meet the functional and non-functional needs of the business.
- Provide direction, leadership, and guidance to design, integrate, and describe technology infrastructure that supports organization and systems initiatives during the execution of projects.
- Enforce best practices and principles to enable consistent delivery and enable alignment with long-term direction.
- Lead and participate in key discussions with business and functional leadership to advise on how to best leverage enterprise services to achieve their objectives.
- Stay up to date on new tools & techniques. Conduct proof of concept activities with key business users in support of advanced use cases.
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze current technologies used within the company and provide recommendations to improve processes and quality of work as needed.
- Drive strategy and road map exercises, architecture definition, product selection, application and integration design in projects. Define and document the application architectures, jointly with the product tech lead and take into account the demands of the projects
- Prioritize the technical backlog in collaboration with the development teams.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to the development teams to create, develop and launch forward-looking products.
- Perform system design reviews.
- Actively participate in the definition of migration paths for legacy systems integrations
- Write high-level and detailed architecture documentation of current state and future state architecture-model and ensures all documentation is kept up to date.
