Software System Test Engineer Remote

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that MSI produces the highest quality, easiest to use products in the surveillance and security industry

• Continually improve the quality of software and hardware products through the creation, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Identify, investigate and root-cause both software and hardware faults for Software-Under-Test (SUT) and Device-Under-Test (DUT)

• Setup and maintain System Test Platforms

• Drive productivity and efficiency via automation and metrics

• Responsible for the timely investigation, triage, and replication of reported issues

• Interact regularly with support, development, and product management teams to solve challenging problems

• Follow processes and provide metrics to ensure high product quality efficiently and productively

Requirements:

• A Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science or engineering

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in System Test, Functional Test and Test Automation

• Minimum of 5 years of video testing experience which may include cameras, Video Management Systems (VMS) or Network Video Recorders (NVR)

• A team player with creative and innovative approaches to solving challenges

• Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing strong technical leadership

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Experienced in working with team members across multiple geographical regions

• Superior written and verbal communications skills
