Description:

The successful candidates will become part of a diverse team of twenty CADC computer scientists and astronomers, developing advanced solutions to support world class science and deliver services for processing data from the world's largest radio telescope. You will become integral members of the CADC software development team, working within an Agile methodology, designing, developing, and maintaining software and infrastructure that enables next-generation data driven astronomical discovery. You will be collaborating with national and international colleagues to help deliver, operate and support the Canadian SRC. Though much focus will be on SRCNet and Rubin, the successful candidates will also participate in the full extent of CADC and CANFAR activities.

For these three positions, we are looking for enthusiastic and creative developers to help build the next-generation astronomy radio data and processing centre in the following areas:

A) User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) design and development

B) Back-end web service design and development

C) Cloud engineering design and development
