Description:
NuPort Robotics is an early stage startup focussed on revolutionizing the field of logistics and supply chain with its suite of connected and autonomous vehicle solutions. NuPort is currently looking for a stellar software engineer to join its core team, to help build our product roadmap covering a range of solutions for level 4 autonomous driving and connected fleets.
Responsibilities
- Develop codes using React.js as front end and Python as backend and deploy web application solutions to enable smart and connected fleet of vehicles
- Responsible for developing APIs and system integration with in-house and third party hardware/software solutions
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, hardware engineers and business units to develop, deploy and validate solutions, resolve functional/integration issues and support the roadmap.
- Monitor performance as well as debug/maintain various applications using automated scripts, tools and techniques.
- Contribute to architectural, roadmap, product requirements and continuous improvement related discussions
- Also aid with building reusable codes and libraries, peer code review and documentation
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of software development experience mainly in React.js, Python (or equivalent software stack) and non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, GitHub, Azure/AWS
- Experience in CI/CD and system monitoring tools would be a plus
- Strong cross-team communication skills
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
