Description:

Manage social media platforms using Later

As a part of a team, create posts as a part of daily activities and marketing campaigns

Ensure high-quality, consistent, brand aware and engaging postings

Engage in client responses and identify sales opportunities

Develop and maintain a social media calendar

Monitor market trends, community events and industry activity

Assist in researching opportunities for new social marketing platforms

Stay current with social media trends and best practices

Create monthly analysis reports for management

Blogging for website

Strengthening connections with media and social media influencers

Special projects include livestreaming initiatives, videography assistance for feeds.

Qualifications:

Quick learner, flexible, and creative thinker with fresh ideas

Proficient on all social media platforms

Good technical understanding and can learn programs quickly

Excellent communicator with strong writing, proofing and editing skills

Focused with good project management skills

Ability to prioritize and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met

Strong initiative with a positive “can do” attitude

Meticulous attention to detail

Will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excited to be a team player

Proactive and strategic approach to problem resolution

Willingness to take on new responsibilities

Ability to work within a flexible weekly schedule including weekends

Preference for candidates experienced with Adobe Photoshop, WordPress and WooCommerce

Experience and Background:

Diploma or degree in Marketing and/or Communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Minimum 1 year in a similar role

Passion for the arts, particularly First Nations

Experience using Facebook Business Manager and online social media platforms
