As a Social Media Coordinator at Labatt, you'll be the voice of our iconic beer brands, playing a pivotal role in shaping how consumers experience and connect with us online. This role is about more than just managing social accounts—it’s about fostering vibrant, engaged communities that celebrate our passion for great beer and bring people together by blending creativity, strategy, and a deep understanding of social culture.
Additionally, you’ll leverage your skills in data visualization and reporting to translate performance metrics into actionable insights, helping the team understand what’s working, what’s not, and where the biggest opportunities lie.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively manage and respond to consumer comments, questions, and direct messages to foster a positive brand presence and build relationships.
- Plan and schedule content aligned with campaigns and cultural moments, ensuring relevance and timeliness.
- Provide guidance on fit-for-format best practices to support the development of optimized, engaging social media assets (including video, static, etc.).
- Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment, track relevant conversations and uncover insights to inform strategy.
- Create detailed reports on social media performance, using analytics to track progress and refine/optimize strategies.
- Use influencer management tools to vet influencers that align with brand values and campaign objectives.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to identify opportunities for the brand to join relevant conversations based on passion points.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma preferably in marketing, business communications or advertising is an asset.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience working in social media, preferably in a brand or agency setting. Experience in PR is an asset.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) and creative best practices for content planning, engagement, and community growth.
- Strong ability to analyze social media data & KPIs, extract actionable insights, and set benchmarks to evaluate campaign and content performance.
- Experience with social media management and listening tools such as Emplifi, Brandwatch, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for social media platforms, trend-spotting, and emerging cultural moments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong multitasking, organizational and ownership skills while working collaboratively with internal & external stakeholders.
