Osprey Inspiration is seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to join our team. As a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in increasing our online presence, engaging with our community, and spreading awareness about our mission to provide housing stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media content strategies to promote Osprey Inspiration's programs and initiatives
- Create compelling and visually appealing content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create compelling and visually appealing content for online monthly newsletter
- Develop communication and marketing templates for social media platforms and an online newsletter
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor social media trends and analyze engagement metrics to refine our social media strategy
- Prepare and present reports on engagement metrics, social media trends, industry trends
- Assemble assets & establish an impact documentation library
- Help develop and write our operational & procedural processes pertaining to online engagement, communication, marketing, measurement, and evaluation
- Collaborate with team members to plan and promote events, campaigns, and fundraisers through social media
- Assist in the creation of graphics, videos, and other multimedia content for social media and newsletter use
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging social media platforms
Qualifications:
- Strong passion for social media and digital marketing
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Creativity and the ability to generate engaging content
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their analytics tool
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are an asset
