Savvy Search Marketing Ltd (Savvy) is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead its SEO Division, as Head Of SEO. This is an exciting expansion to our team arising from strong growth in our SEO management services. This post is a remote full time job. Preference will be given to applicants from the Greater Vancouver, BC area. As our team is global we will consider candidates from elsewhere in Canada as well as internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and hold accountable the SEO team to ensure measurable strong performance in line with client goals
• Drive client strategy, thereby defining scope and goals definition
• Manage and supervise many ongoing SEO projects
• Innovate, improve and lead Savvy’s SEO management and operational systems
• Communicate at a high level with clients
• Keep pace with SEO and related developments, thereby continually innovating

What we are looking for

• BS/BA degree or similar
• 8+ years experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• 3+ years of experience managing an SEO Team
• Exceptional communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Passionate and very knowledgeable about anything to do with SEO and related activities
• Critical thinking with attention to detail
• Ability to effectively and calmly multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
• Approaching problem solving and idea generation in a creative manner
• Ability to identify and audit issues, leading to effective solutions
• Understand and embrace synergies between SEO and SEM/PPC
