Senior Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our Assurance & Advisory Services Team. Reporting to GGFL’s management, in this growing role you will become an integral member of the assurance team working closely with our Managers and Partners. You will take an active role in planning of engagements, conducting large audit and review engagements, including the design and modification of audit procedures, as well as preparing engagement working papers, financial statements, and client correspondence. Senior Staff Accountants assist or take the lead for the training and development of more junior staff. They supervise junior staff and review their work. They also participate in tax planning on corporate engagements, and prepare corporate tax returns.
The ideal candidate will have their CPA Ontario designation and a minimum of 2 years of full time assurance experience in public accounting.
