Geotab is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Data who will be the interlock between the Product team and other functional teams within the organization such as Marketing and Sales that will develop and own the positioning, messaging and marketing-related launch activities of new Data solutions. What you’ll do:

 

In collaboration with key stakeholders, you will synthesize market, competitive and customer dynamics, interpret key technical features and functions, develop a toolkit of assets that clearly articulates the value propositions, benefits, personas, competitive landscape and key differentiators that are appropriate to specific regions, segments and sales channels.


Success in this role will be defined by the delivery of product marketing assets in conjunction with deep integration with key stakeholders to truly position themselves as a SME for these solutions. The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Data, will own the end-to-end of the product marketing value chain from product inception to in-life with end customers.

 

How you’ll make an impact:

    • Aligned to the Data & Analytics Product team, work in partnership with the key resources to position new products, solutions developing targeted messaging and positioning.
    • Drive GTM activities for the overall hardware portfolio and ensure that all key launch components are aligned to the defined criteria and remove any roadblocks internally to meet the targeted launch date.
    • In partnership with Product, be the internal and external SME for these products, supporting events, webinars and customer meetings and presentations.
    • In partnership with the competitive intelligence team, validate market needs, competitive positioning, and continue to support throughout the product life cycle.
    • In partnership with functional teams, develop and document the specific product features, use cases, benefits, user journeys, targeted audience (region, segment, industry) and market(s) and translate into market-facing value-based messaging.
    • Document significant product changes relative to the product category to consistently, as needed, ensure other teams internally can properly position the product, identify changes in market demand, competition and user requirements.
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of customer and prospect requirements and represent the voice of the customer within Geotab at cross-functional team meetings.
    • Collaborate with Product Managers and other functional teams to get feedback from Customers and Resellers on new and existing solutions. Such activities may include driving focus groups or customer roundtable discussions.
    • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to develop sales tools, assets and communications to sales teams.
    • Own and drive product post mortems and post-launch assessments, constantly providing feedback to product, support and marketing teams.
