Senior .net Developer

Iris Software Inc. is hiring a Senior .Net Developer for a Fortune 100 direct client in Toronto, ON. This role requires expertise in .Net Core, C#, SQL, and ASP.Net MVC, with a focus on building web services and APIs. If you're an experienced developer looking for an opportunity to work on high-impact applications, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Application Development

• Develop and maintain Windows-based applications using C# .Net.

• Build Webservices, APIs, REST Services, and WCF/SOAP Services.

• Implement multithreading and memory management in backend services.

🔹 Database & Cloud Integration

• Work with SQL, Oracle, Aerospike, or MongoDB.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Cloud Platforms (PCF, CF2, Azure, etc.).

🔹 Software Design & Security

• Utilize object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, and algorithms.

• Resolve code smells, vulnerabilities, and application security flaws.

🔹 Project Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead projects with moderate complexity and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Contribute to trading application development (preferred).

Required Qualifications:

✔ 6+ years of experience developing Windows applications using C# .Net.
✔ 4+ years working with Web API, REST Services, WCF, or SOAP Services.
✔ 4+ years of experience with SQL, Oracle, Aerospike, or MongoDB.
✔ 1+ years of experience leading moderate complexity projects.
✔ Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, and backend services.
✔ Proficiency in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
✔ BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

⭐ Experience in Cloud platforms (PCF, CF2, Azure, etc.).
⭐ Knowledge of trading applications.
