Description:
Our lead product, an onsite, containerized Green Ammonia production system that is modular and scalable, will revolutionize clean energy through a patent-pending, first-of-its-kind technology invented in Canada. The system takes air, water and a sustainable electricity source to produce green anhydrous ammonia with no carbon emissions. Adoption will dramatically support global targets to reduce CO2 emissions. And our decentralized, in situ approach will bring supply chain independence to our first customers – farmers – for the first time.
If you want to make a Positive impact, be relevant and make a change, join our team and become a part of the solution!
What YOU will do:
In this position you will work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams on our current technologies pertaining to the generation of hydrogen, nitrogen, and ammonia. Your objective is to support the commercialization of our green ammonia production systems along with developing technological advancements in the areas of mechanical design including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and piping layouts using SolidWorks CAD systems. You will produce and review drawings and bills of materials for accuracy, material selection, machinability, fit and finishes. You are a wizard at analyzing designs and systems for compliance to applicable standards. Additionally, you will develop test plans to verify that equipment meets all relevant specifications including safety standards. You will be supporting documentation, including operator/service manuals, preparing equipment specifications, data sheets, and developing process design criteria as a basis of the process design. Safety is a priority for everything we do, so you will participate in process safety engineering in every step of the process. Did we mention that part of your role will be to mentor and provide guidance to junior engineering professionals? Does this sound exciting? Keep reading below.
