The Senior Manager, Business Development (New Construction Partnerships), will be critical to our company’s strategy, and has been designed for a competitively minded, quick-thinking and logical professional to lead in an ever-evolving and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will drive strategy and execution as we improve upon already strong positions in the Greater Toronto Area as well as Southwestern and Northeastern Ontario, and will lead multiple teams of Bell Account Executives, from Specialist to Senior Manager. Reporting to the Director, Business Development - New Construction Partnerships and Sales, the candidate will play an active role as our team creates and strengthens relationships with key contacts from the region’s most prominent developers of single-family unit (SFU) homes and residential multi-dwelling unit (MDU) buildings.
This is a key position within the team with Senior Executive visibility and tremendous upside.
Job Duties/Accountabilities
- Being a leader in the residential new construction segment in the key Ontario market
- Leading multiple teams of world class Specialists and Senior Managers, Business Development / Account Executives (AEs), responsible for all New Construction accounts in Ontario
- Achieving quarterly targets for team and individual SFU & MDU wiring and marketing rights agreements
- Leveraging a consultative selling process to ensure each site within each account is signed to a partnership agreement and is properly aligned with the most appropriate Bell Consumer product offerings
- Analyzing, understanding and speaking to market trends, major players, opportunities, threats and levels of urgency, to a Bell Senior Leadership Team audience
- Building strong relationships with leading Developers representing multi-million dollar agreements
- Working within Salesforce.com to ensure Bell has complete market coverage and that each team member is compliant with tracking all account growth, negotiations, closures and losses
- Managing team budgets and results reporting
- Hosting key clients at high profile social and sporting events around the Province
- Supporting sales and marketing teams as they execute upon detailed sales & marketing plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 year group or team management experience
- High level of comfort with technology and champion for innovative solutions
- Outstanding and proven people leadership skills
- Experience building and managing to detailed results projections
- Strong history of building and delivering successful, senior leadership level presentations
- Proven ability to bid and win exclusive or unique deal opportunities
- Experience managing day to day operational requirements and large budgets
- Telecom industry experience is required
