Understand and improve business process efficiency within Operations through the identification of key standardized process in the daily execution of the Warehouses across OPG
Develop processes to maintain logistics and inventory management
Work closely to build a team that follows a structured process by implementing monitoring and analysis tools in order to ensure the optimal execution of operations
In collaboration with the Director, participate in the development of warehouse optimization strategies, process improvement and standardized business processes
Provide leadership and motivation to all business units under her/his responsibility in a positive and collaborative atmosphere that supports all key internal and external stakeholders
Focusing on health, safety, and wellbeing of employees
Inspire, develop and engage a capable team while developing and building tangible development plans and succession planning
Optimize centralized customer service, and WMS connection and its benefits
Responsible for Warehouse strategic planning and goal setting for the team
Ensure there is departmental alignment with the company's goals and objectives with clear accountabilities and responsibilities.
Leverage reporting to proactively develop solutions
Identify and prioritize key supply chain initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, solutions to optimize inventory, transportation and supply chain processes
Formulate and control budgets as they relate to supply chain operations
Analyze and present supply chain operations and performance data to senior management
Lead and coach other in maintaining excellence
Develop and implement best practices for safety, quality, for overall material management, and transportation
Participate in the standardization and selection of new Supply Chain technologies to achieve 'Best of the Best' targets within the Supply Chain business plan.
Promote use of leading practices for high performance including use of teams where appropriate and stakeholder relationship management.
Represent Ontario Power Generation (OPG) with the supplier community. Represent department with internal stakeholders. Support and promote values of OPG and achievement of its strategic business objectives through roles, responsibilities and results achieved by the managed department.
