Description:
In this Program role, you will be on an exciting journey to drive the delivery of highly complex programs that contribute to the strategic goals of Team Canada. Working in close partnership with a cross-functional program team including senior leadership (director +), you will help design and manage how work is delivered. You will develop and lead top priority programs from conception to conclusion and ensure delivery consistently supports Canada’s strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will involve the following:
Provide a clear vision of how strategy is deployed from the project, program, and portfolio perspective to help senior leadership see the most important opportunities across Canada to enhance the delivery of Canada goals
Strategically break down ambiguous and high-priority problem statements into thoughtful programs and lead them independently (by engaging in the ideation phase of strategically important programs)
Proactively influence business intent and design by linking what is happening across the Canada LOB back to Canada goals with a focus on identifying top opportunities as well as identifying compounding delivery risk at the enterprise level
Provide leverage to project customers by being a strategic and tactical thought partner to effectively drive project delivery and efficiency
Deliver results without direct authority based on strong business knowledge and influence across all levels of the organization
Effectively manage scope, schedule, resources and budget and communicate status, impediments, risks, and issues across all levels by understanding the needs of the program and leveraging defined processes, tools, and systems
Function as a trusted advisor to senior leaders to win together (even when they might have dissenting opinions on the path forward) and represent the momentum behind the work
