Senior Java Developer

Description:

• Analysis, design, implementation, with mainly Java, spring MVC, inhouse and customer web application features Working on Liferay Platform (DXP) for developing portals , sites etc. Fixing Bugs and Providing Support for Incidents raised by Business Gather specific requirements required for design decisions Working with client, understand the business trend, conduct proof or concepts as suitable Communication with client and other stake holders with appropriate data points and at the right time Process improvement, best practice to be followed for continuous refinement of the application Mentoring and grooming other team members as required

Must-Have

Proven experience in developing and deploying Java applications as a Java Developer/Web Developer Familiarity with the Spring framework, Hibernate, Micro-services, Web Services and design/architectural patterns. Hands on experience in developing Micro-services using Spring Boot. Knowledge of at least one of the client-side frameworks: Java Script, Angular, Angular JS or Vue JS Knowledge of at least one of the databases: SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL (Preferable) Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST API) A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Understanding of Agile methodologies, Ceremonies. Good communication skill Basic DevOps knowledge
