Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Description:

Our client, a well-known banking institution, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining banking applications while collaborating with key business stakeholders and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Work closely with team members and business stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
✔ Develop, debug, and extend functionality in Java 8+ and ReactJS applications.
✔ Design and implement RESTful APIs following microservices architecture principles.
✔ Ensure code security and best practices in functionalities, services, and endpoints.
✔ Write comprehensive tests for functionalities and APIs.
✔ Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
✔ Design efficient database schemas (PostgreSQL knowledge preferred).
✔ Perform intra-day and overnight production support as part of the DevOps POD team.

Must-Have Qualifications:

✔ Strong Java 8+ and ReactJS experience.
✔ Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
✔ Experience with Redux store management.
✔ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and pipeline setup.
✔ 5-6 years of experience in SQL and relational databases (Oracle experience is a plus).
✔ Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
✔ Experience working in Unix environments.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

✔ Experience with PostgreSQL database.
✔ Prior experience in a banking or financial services environment.
