Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze sales and operational data sets using business intelligence and FP&A planning tools to provide visibility, measure performance, identify growth opportunities, and set financial targets.
  • Identify, report, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure the competitive, financial, and operational effectiveness of the Company (e.g., ARR, Net Dollar Retention (NDR), Renewal Rates, Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC), Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV), etc.).
  • Develop financial models and forecasts for sales and related P&L impact, including revenue, cost of sales, and sales & marketing expense.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts for net working capital and cash flow.
  • Serve as a business partner and contributor to growth strategies, tactics, mid and long-range planning.
  • Analyze effectiveness of sales incentive programs and inform sales incentive strategy and planning.
  • Collaborate with analysts and managers across the organization to coordinate use of data and KPIs.
  • Participate in the evolution and execution of financial updates for various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide additional support and contributions to such company initiatives as new business and M&A opportunities.
  • Support the financial evaluation and implications of potential new products, operating models, contracts, marketing programs and technology solutions.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis for use in presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help develop and implement frameworks for effective investment decision making, such as ROI, EVA, and Economic Profit analytical tools to ensure decisions are made in alignment with the creation of enterprise value.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or equivalent; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in corporate finance, data analytics, and/or professional services/consulting roles in the Software/SaaS industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills and in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance and financial statement analysis concepts.
  • Proficiency with full financial statement modeling and forecasts, including sales, revenue, gross and operating margin, net working capital, and cash flow.
  • Experience with financial and strategic planning, operational budgeting, capital budgetingamiliarity with corporate accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in analyzing, reporting, and modeling key Software/SaaS metrics preferred (e.g., ARR, NDR, Renewal Rates, CAC, CLTV, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; experience with collaborative office tools (e.g., SharePoint) a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data management and querying tools (e.g., SQL, Power Query, Alteryx) preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Great Plains) and FP&A planning tools (e.g., Planful) a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task; an independent / flexible problem solver who can cope positively with changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to respond and prioritize effectively while meeting deadlines.
