The Opportunity - Senior Financial Analyst As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting and will be part of the Accounting, Reporting and Compliance Team. You will be involved in general accounting functions and preparing month-end external and internal financial reporting.
What You'll Do as a Senior Financial Analyst
Perform technical accounting analysis as required.
Liaise with external auditors during the year-end audit.
Support external tax consultants: provide information for sales and income tax filings.
Review and implement internal processes, as well as make continuous improvements to financial processes.
Analyze financial information - summarize, interpret, and make recommendations on actual and forecast information.
Prepare journal entries and perform month-end reconciliations.
What You'll Bring to the Role
Must be a Qualified CA/CPA with 3-4 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS.
Strong attention to detail.
Advanced abilities with Excel.
Audit experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Ability to work well cross-functionally.
Superior analytical skills and a quick study.
