Senior Family Lawyer
Description:
Job Responsibilities;
- Manage assigned caseload
- Draft and respond to correspondence
- Prepare pleadings, financial disclosures, mediation, and trial briefs
- Telephone and in-person contact with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
- Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials
- Track billable time
- Assist the supervising lawyers in all phases of the practice
Qualifications;
- Must be admitted to Ontario Bar
- 5+ Years Practicing Family Law
- Empathetic, and level-headed demeanor to properly handle sensitive family law matters
- Possess strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
