Senior Clinical Nurse Advisor

 

Description:

As Senior Clinical Nursing Advisor, Nursing Operations, you will support the Nursing Managers and assist in the co-ordination and operationalization of Nursing Services. You will assist in the delivery of quality health services and community programming. In addition, you will analyze and identify trends in health data along with observing patient care activities and discussing potential improvements with team members. Also, you will assess individual and group learning needs. Oversees and monitors the quality of delivery of a full range of primary and public health programming

Travel to remote and rural First Nations communities will be required.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have/be –
 

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from a recognized university and successful completion of approved training in public health nursing, obstetrics, mental health or other relevant specialty, nursing leadership, administration, or public health sciences, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM).
  • Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP).

You may have experience in;
 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public health and/or remote nursing, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
