Description:
• Design and implementation of Cisco Network infrastructure for the organization including Cloud, LAN and WAN. • Research, plan, design, implement and support a variety of network technologies, including but not limited to routers/routing protocols, switching, route reflection, upstream peering/transit management, Cloud connectivity, firewalls, voice systems, IPTV/video, Wireless LAN topologies, SSL and IPSec VPN, network security practices and tools, among others. • Serve as final point of escalation for Cisco Networking level support for any incidents, outages, degradation or troubles with infrastructure • Maintain and execute comprehensive procedures to efficiently respond to escalated network incidents • Act as an escalation point throughout the duration of any mission critical network incidents, as required • Root cause analysis investigations, pattern analysis • Use real-time and historical data to facilitate capacity planning and execute resource management, including but not limited to; Core network capacity, fibre capacity, customer-port capacity, ARIN/IP resources, etc. • Monitor and act upon scenarios that impact network performance, stability, growth, attrition or other attributes as required • Real Time monitoring of Beanfield infrastructure health and status • Create and distribute detailed technical and procedural documentation for internal teams • Be a compelling and clear communicator in order to represent your team to internal and external audiences with differing levels of technical fluency.
