Review the agreements/documents describing the terms of the financial instruments, and client models, and prepare summaries for internal team discussion;
Model the financial instrument valuations in Excel and Python based on technical research and leveraging proprietary valuation models for valuation analyses across a range of financial instrument types;
Determine valuation inputs such as credit rating, discounting rate(s), volatility, and equity value to be fed into the valuation models;
Lead discussions with the clients, prepare information requests, perform document management procedures, conduct research, and gather data and information pertinent to the engagement;
Draft valuation analysis, produce client-ready work, and present results to internal/external clients and audit teams;
Maintain active communication with the engagement team regarding the interim and final deadline, percent of completion;
Stay up to date with the developments in the valuation industry with respect to the valuation approaches and theories; and
Supervise analysts and interns on engagements and provide guidance with project planning, research and development of new valuation methodologies, and other technical writing exercises
Practice management responsibilities
Support the CFIP leadership in practice management initiatives such as developing strategy presentations, new model development, practice statistics, and 'go-to-market' strategies; and
Support the CFIP leadership in monthly administration formalities.
