Description:
- Formulates stakeholder communications plans and change management plans to advance the business objectives and goals of the Chief of Payments office
- Identifies communications risks and opportunities, providing issues management advice, guidance and strategic direction to the Senior Manager and Chief of Payments to anticipate, identify, prioritize, manage and minimize issues as they arise
- Supports Communications to prepare responses to questions from the media or other external groups – ensuring a high degree of consistency and clarity
- Manages the internal communications approval process within PRESTO – ensuring the relevant subject matter experts are engaged to validate information for accuracy and seek executive approval before providing to Marketing and Communications
- Leads the coordination and acts a secretary for the PRESTO (Payments) Committee of the Board
- through collaboration with the Payments Leadership Team and the Corporate Secretary Office – to effectively the optimal functioning of the Payments Committee.
- Develops agendas and coordinates other governance reporting to support the Chief of Payments office including but not limited CEO deep dive
- Leads the development of executive presentations and speaking remarks for the Chief of PRESTO and other executives that advance PRESTO’s profile at external forums, conferences, and panel discussions
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
- Completion of a degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
- Experience Minimum six (6) years’ experience, ideally in the public sector, developing communications materials; managing special projects, complex and sensitive issues/tasks, timely flow of information along with stakeholder interaction
